Literature Text

Who would I hurt
If I died tomorrow
Who would cry, who would care?
Would the unexpected be affected,
while the expected be unmoved?
Have I touched the hearts of many
Or only my thought out few

Who would I destroy
If I died tomorrow
Who would cry, who would care?
Would the unexpected understand,
while the expected be confused?
Have I shown more than I thought
Or have I got them fooled?

Well now who do I open to
And who should I see?
Who am I not paying attention to
While they notice me?
Who will be the ones I hurt
If tomorrow ever comes?
I thought I knew the answer,
But who would cry, who would care
If I died tomorrow...

What souls am I missing,
Whose thoughts am I not counting,
Who am I really hurting
By the thoughts that I am thinking?

[edit] changed the last line..i think it works better with the poem...
